Change Network Licence to a new Path/Server
Changing the license path should ideally be performed by IT staff.

Things to do before moving the license:
- Ensure that nobody is actively working with CRANEbee.
- Confirm that every user has read, write, and modify access in the new license location.
- After changing the general path, remember that you need to update the path on every machine using the license. Keep this in mind if someone is working on an important project and you cannot access their PC.
Changing the license path step by step:
1. Log into a computer that is currently using the license you wish to change the path for.
2. Deactivate the license temporarily:
- Open a PowerShell window in "C:\Program Files\CRANIMAX\CRANEbee\beeAdmin."
- Execute the command "CB.beeAdmin.exe -n."
- The administration tool will open.
- Click on "File" > "Load License."
- After loading the license, click on "Tools" and then "Give Back License."
- A new window will open; click on "Deactivate now."
- After that, you will see that the deactivation was successful.
- Close beeAdmin.
3. Changing the license location:
- Navigate to the path where the license is currently located.
If you're unsure of this location, you can find it in "C:\Program Files\CRANIMAX\CRANEbee\beeAdmin\paths.config" under the "lizenzpfad" row.
- Change the "lizenzpfad" property in paths.config to the new path in UNC format. Be sure to double-escape the backslash (i.e., \\company.local\... instead of \company.local...).
- Save the file and close it.
4. Activating the license again:
- Run beeFix.exe in "C:\Program Files\CRANIMAX\CRANEbee\beeAdmin\" . You will get an error that the licence "could not be found". Close the error.
- In beeFix click on "Fix licence". This will create a new empty licence file.
- You will be prompted to activate the license; got through this process normally.
- If there was no other problem, the licence gets activated again and beeFix now loads all the modules of your licence.
- The licence has been moved correctly to a new path.
5. Changing the path for all users / on other machines:
- Obtain the path of the new folder where the license is now located as UNC (i.e., \company.local...).
- Open "C:\Program Files\CRANIMAX\CRANEbee\beeAdmin\paths.config" with a text editor.
- Modify the "lizenzpfad" to the new UNC path. Be sure to double-escape the backslash (i.e., \\company.local\... instead of \company.local...).
- Save the file and close it.
